Been using LauncherPro free version for a long time and it's great. Decided to try motoblur on gingerbread, but soon afterwards went back to LauncherPro.

Another vote for Launcher Pro Plus. It's not too different from stock, but the differences it has are just what I want.

Another go launcher user, works good, lots of customization, tried new blur, just didn't do it for me.

I like ADW EX because it is very sense like. The customization options are endless as well. I want to see it get updated to take advantages of all the improvements of Gingerbread.

I use LPP. I've tried everything else. ADW EX lags just a teensy bit more than LPP for me, as does Go Launcher. To be honest, if it weren't for that, I'd pick Go Launcher, because I like the customization options better. However, I do love LPP's widgets. I'm a bit of a Tweetdeck addict, but the Friends widget is nice being able to see everything rolled into one like that. It does have a lot of customizations, and recent updates has reduced the lag to nearly zero. I think Go Launcher had the least screen transition lag and the coolest animations for it, but LPP has the best 3D App Drawer.

To be honest, the best Launcher is really AOSP Launcher. The only problem is, you can't add custom shortcuts, and you can't add 5 rows of icons to your homescreens, and these are kind of deal breakers for me. The first thing can be solved with something like desktop visualizer, but the second is just non-negotiable. So much wasted space! I feel like this should be fixed. 4x4 seems so silly. Still, it's hard to beat hardware acceleration.

Zeam is an awesome launcher. I stumbled across it when I first got my DX and i've stuck with it the entire time. It's free and its super smooth with virtually no lag. It's a little skimp in regards to customization but it's easy to use and runs great.

adw ex crashes / re-launches itself almost every time I hit home, anderwebs probably hates me due to all the crash reports I send

I had LauncherPro for the longest time, tried Go Launcher to see how it was and I liked its customization wayyyy better. But then it started having strange glitches...apps would overlap one another and move to different screens. I also tried ADW and loved it, but it didn't seem too different from stock....I would reinstall it but it seemed my battery life wasn't quite as good with these installed launchers. Anyone else experience this?

Go launcher is pretty good but my fav is Launcher 7.

I tried Launcher7 a while back and didn't like it much. I have been trying it out again this past week and I have to say I am really liking it. It feels totally different from the typical android launcher, and now that it supports widgets, it is quite nice. I also like the semi-live tiles for contacts, calendar, email, and messaging. I have found that with a bit of customization, I now have quick access to all the info and apps I had on GoLauncher.
