There is no "best ROM". It's all what you want out of the ROM. If you're going to keep the phone at stock clockspeeds you'll probably want to use an Aphrodite ROM.

Then you should stay stock and download a gingerbread theme from the market. ALL of the gingerbread roms have problems with MMS (sending and/or receiving picture messages) You should probably rename this thread with more specific title.

Based on your previous posts, I agree with sdxben's recommendation to stay stock and get a Gingerbread theme from the market.
However, it seems you want to flash a custom ROM. Of course, there is no best ROM. Different ROMs suit different people.
For you, I recommend Romidus ROM.
