I have Chrome on the phone, but I use Firefox on just about every device (laptops, netbook [running Linux], phones). I had to go to the nightlies in the Q beta, because even the beta version wasn't working right, and now, with the change in Windows, it's also nightlies if I want sound, but still Firefox.
I've been through Lynx (text only - back in the Jurassic age), Mosaic, Netscape, IE (from the first version), Opera, Safari (even Edge :::shudder::

, but I still use Firefox as my standby. Solid, loads of add-ons (unfortunately, some of the good old standbys won't be updated, so it's been a job finding replacements) and, unless I have JS disabled on a particular site, it just works.
About the only security issue with browsers, if you have the device locked down and protected, is sneaky code in the browser (I wouldn't even download CM Browser, let alone install it, because of Cheetah's "reputation" [which is pretty negative]).
