Whats the deal with AppPlanet

It appears that paid app are free here. The prices listed are in a foreign currency but are crossed out. Is this a legal site and is it trustworthy. I don't want to download something from it and brick my phone. Why are paid apps free on this site.

If you're finding paid market apps somewhere for free - other than Amazon's free app of the day - I'd avoid it like the plague.

I agree that something is funny about a site that has paid apps for free. I will stay away. It's not like most of the apps are expensive anyways.

AppPlanet is likely a site to download pirated paid apps. Not only is this illegal, but many of those apps likely contain malware or something else that will compromise your privacy or majorly screw with your phone. Don't download from it. It's not worth the $5 (at most) you would save.

Few paid apps are that expensive. I suggest just biting the bullet and paying for it if you really want the app. I'd only trust the Android Market (obviously), appbrain.com (basically a front-end for the Android market that was more useful back when the market sucked) and the Amazon appstore.
