Is their a good video out on youtube on how to flash Roms and such? I like seeing stuff rather than reading

like say i want to get cyanogen 7 on my unrevoked and i dont understand flashing. is rom manager used?

You can use Rom Manager. I don't use it tho and my knowledge is limited because of that.

The youtube video shows how to flash from recovery. Its easier than what you think. It shows how to make a nandroid which you should do before flashing.

With CM7 make sure you have the gapps (google apps) or you won't have the market or other google apps.

So if I don't wanna flash and all that stuff right now I was wondering if there setcpu app on the market works good? I already downloaded bloatfreeze and frooze all the crap apps.

A good practice is to get Titanium Backup from the market. Use that to backup all your apps.

You don't have to flash a rom if you're not ready.
You can use can use setcpu, but with the stock kernel you can only underclock.

Underclock is what iam looking at the battery on the evo sucks enough lol. Would be cool to turn it down with the screen off and I hear that setcpu can do that.
