What's your current and 'ideal' monitor setup?

I use two monitors at home, one's a 23" in vertical orientation, perfect for editing MS Word docs, and 29" LG Ultrawide.

42" TV for service boards and cameras in the shop
2 x 24" for email, Teams, MAS, OneDrive and day to day applications
My Surface Pro 7 for personal use
Dell keyboard and mouse with multi channels to toggle between desktop and Surface.

Suppose I need to update this with my current work-at-home setup. Have to make-due with the 24" Asus monitor I bought for gaming, which has been connected to the Mac Mini (top right, under Mr. Met) in addition to the 14" laptop display. Quite the adjustment compared to the 3x 20" monitors I have at work.

I realize this post is over 5 years old, but it's worth revisiting.
My ideal setup is the one I have now - a single LG 38" curved monitor with two inputs permanently wired, DisplayPort and HDMI. The desktop computer is connected to the DisplayPort, and the HDMI cable is connected to the monitor but left dangling at the other end (typically used for a laptop). As soon as I connect a 2nd device to the HDMI cable, the monitor pops up a menu asking which input to use, or both. If "both" is selected, the monitor goes into split-screen mode and displays both computer's video side by side.
