Pretty cool that when in camera mode, you can swipe to the left to switch to the front camera instead of clicking on the icon. Love it!

Yeah seems much snappier than the G3. I went back to the G2 and sold G3 because it was lagging. G4 improves on what was good about the 3 and improves speed and screen.

I want to see what others think about the more squared corners and the wider top and bottom bezels. Not sure I'm wild about the wider bezels the squared corners help me hold it better one-handed

I hated those two aspects before I got the phone in hand. The videos and pics didn't do it justice. Now that I have it, I like the look of the squared corners. The larger chin isn't even noticeable to me since they changed the grey chin to black.

I think I notice it more when some pages switch the home buttons to black. Just curious why they felt the need to make it taller.

Coming from a m8... I see no problem with the design of the phone. The bottom bar could be smaller and give a larger screen, but it could have housed the back speaker had they wanted to.

Found a few extra cool features that I wanted to share with you guys.

First one is holding down the space bar in the default keyboard app and scrolling the cursor left and right to corect words and punctuation. Pretty cool. Almost as cool as apples magnifying feature.


LG has added a lot of cool features from other phones and I Think it brilliant.

Please add to this thread if you find some stuff we may not know about. I don't want this thread to be buried because it will help a lot of people love this phone more.

I am enjoying the knock code and camera. I also really love the idea of auto brightness but you can setup a threshold for it on how bright it should be with Auto still running .. That is just very cool to me.

I prefer the squareness of the phone. I liked the bezels better on the G3. I look forward to one day when there are literally zero bezels somehow. That said, I have gotten used to the bezels and the screen is what sells this phone for me.

Camera. Coming from a Moto X '13 (which is my favorite phone to date) the difference is like that of driving a Yugo and then a Ferrari. This camera is incredible, even if it does over sharpen just a tad.

The quick camera start, i.e press down twice quick and the camera appears. I wouldn't have got the snap of this car driving by with my old phone.
