What's your home screen look like?

Mine if a black background with a weather widget and 23 icons. I use Nova as my launcher. I've never seen a need to make the screen harder to use with a picture for the background.

Yea I like them most cause they make all icons unified design they force that glossy bubble design on all icons and if it is about that little colored sampled down original icon, I think it's just fine (and you could just use some generic icons of similar apps that come in pure glossy full shine).. Most other free icon packs mostly have some apps you're using missing..

Hi,

Inspired by this I now also use 7 null icons with Nova. Only thing that brothers me is that I have put some widgets and shortcuts in a map/folder, and these don't adapt. Any idea if this can be changed?

I can't see your attachment. You can change individually your folder icons, this is what I do. All icons on my home screen, but the phone/dialer, are folders with a Nova swipe up action assigned.

The folders with apps look o.k., but folders with shortcuts or widgets keep the colors of the items in tem. I'll try posting the image again.

Now I can see your screenshot. I would change the folder icon for a generic one, you are going to remember what's inside anyway.

Oh I'm not familiar with Canadian carriers. I bought mine straight out off of Amazon. Never locked it to Verizon just used popped in the sim.

Last week I retired my Essential, it's now just for playing.

That's pretty cool! And what a great way to keep using it! Have you heard of the Razer phones? They're gaming smartphones - I was intrigued!

I like how clean Niagra is. It was even more minimalist before they allowed widgets. It's in the vein of the Nokia Z launcher, so that's why I use it.

Long press the folder icon, edit, tap the icon on that popup window, select 7 Null from the list, scroll all the way down and they are under 'System'.
