Help, please.
If I uninstall Whatsapp, then delete a Contact, and then re-install Whatsapp and refresh Whatsapp Contacts , would I still show as being a Whatsapp Contact on the other persons' device?

You would only show as a contact on the other person's device if they still had you on their phone contact list.

Are you trying to avoid showing up on someone else's phone in whatsapp? I don't believe that's possible if you're in their contacts.

You can go to contacts in whatsapp and block them if you don't want them making contact with you though.
