Hi,

Just took delivery of my new Gear S3 and have two questions if someone could kindly point me in the right direction.

1. When I get a Whatsapp alert and there is an image attachment, I can't seem to view the image on my watch, I have to view it on my phone, is that correct?

2. When I view the image/notification on my phone the notification then disappears from my watch, how do I get it back and see what the last message was?

1. Mostly correct...yes. Once in awhile I'm able to view WhatsApp images on my Gear S3, but it's not consistent. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the file format of the attachment or something.

2. Sadly there's no way, at least not that I know of. Your watch is showing you notifications mirrored from your phone. When they disappear from your phone, they disappear from the watch too. Unlike most other messaging services, WhatsApp and Facebook notifications allow you to respond from your watch itself, but you can only view the message and reply so long as the notification is present. There are some Gear apps I've seen for $1.50 or so that act as a hub for your WhatsApp messages, but I've never tried them.
