Whatsapp messing up

I've got whatsapp installed on my Samsung phone but because I have joined a group on the app of I delete just whatsapp then reinstall whatsapp will I still be joined to the group?

Based on what I've experienced you'll still be in the group after you've uninstalled and reinstalled the app.

I've factory reset my phone then when I installed WhatsApp again, I'm still in the group.
