Probably never... unless one of the carriers decides to get an exclusive on it.

Try living in Canada... it's either black, black or black for both the Note 5 and the Edge+

Other color variations will become available......after everyone has purchased the gold and black.
It's called marketing; introducing a new variation re-opens the door after the "hoopla" has died down.
We've seen it here over and again. Everyone buys what's available and when the new color, larger GB or the "Beats version or Harman Kardon comes out people go out and get it....it's actually a brilliant strategy (for the carriers).
