I ordered mine within the first hour on 7/24/13 on google play store. And It says "shipped" with no tracking information. "still waiting for UPS pickup" WHAT THE HECK GOOGLE??!!!??!! What is the hold up?

I ordered mine via Google Play on Friday, July 26 @ 8:00am.......

At that time... It said "1 to 2 weeks" when ordered.....

checking the Google Play account.... I have been charged.... But it doesn't show the unit shipped...

So, I assume I am in for a little bit of a wait...

Guess I better start stalking Best But stores.... Trucks arrive Thursday....

I ordered it from the Google Play store on July 24th, and UPS shipped it 2 days ago, and it arrived when I came home from work today.

Usually I'm not used to 2 day service to Hawaii, but I'm glad I paid extra for it.

Order one Thu, Jul 25, 2013 at 11:28 AM (EST) from Playstore and no shipping info yet.
Told my friend about it and ordered his Sun, Jul 28, 2013 at 6:14 PM and no shipping info yet. This order had upgraded two day shipping.

Yesterday called local PA Best Buy. Advised couple of stores had stock. So. Phily store had 90 at the time. Would not hold/pre-pay. So I drove there and picked up 2. Working great!

I did a play store order on 7/25 at 10 am... just checked the account and it says "ship by Aug 16th." damn, two weeks can be a long time to wait. I keep telling myself that there will be more support by then and worth it.

Ordered from GP on July 24 @ 5:55 pm EDT (2:55 pm PDT), received email ship notification on July 28, Chromecast was delivered on Aug. 1. Packing slip states that actual ship date was July 26.

I have not yet received my Netflix code. I spoke to Google yesterday about the code and was told the issue would be forwarded to a "specialist" for resolution.
