When flashing stock RUU....

Are there any complications that result from having apps2sd on your phone/card? I am currently in the process of selling my old rooted Hero and I want to make sure that if I flash the stock RUU nothing on the phone card is damaged in the process. Will flashing the RUU repartition the card correctly but wipe the card? Thanks in advance to anyone that can help.

You have to format the card the ruu won't touch it.In settings,you can format or in recovery before you run ruu.

Once ive formatted the sd card and flashed the 1.5RUU, I should be able update to 2.1 with OTA update via settings correct? Thanks again Beezy, I used your 2.1 rom until my Hero's retirement and my wife is very looking forward to the themes you and your gf make for her Evo in August.

After you ruu to 1.5,you would have to ruu to 2.1 the ota was just a patch.Grab the ruu from htc website it has the ota already in it.

yeah just run 2.1 ruu and you'll have a stock 2.1 phone.
