When I open my email, I cannot read the narrative, only the subject.

I just recently purchased a Galaxy S7 Edge phone; in my email, when I try to open it, I cannot read the narrative. I can only read the subject line.

At first everything was fine, for a couple of days but now only the subject line appears and no narrative.

Go to mail settings and check whether you have chosen to download the entire mail or only the headers.
