When is the tab S4 coming out?

That has to be fake news. No way the Tab s4 comes out in 2020. So 3 years in between tabs?

Also consider the pixel c it's still quite popular and was ranked third in best tablet competition this year

This is mostly due to the fact of Tegra chip but yet it manages to have a very long shelf life

If you need more assurances we keep putting a Lotta deals and offers up also there seems to be a black market 128 GB version on best buy.

Expect something in the mid range series in 2019 that will possible have most features of tab S3 but 2020 is the tab S4 date unless otherwise announced

Tab S2 had a lot of buyers but a huge loss with the tab s3 especially since it was unveiled alongside the galaxy book devices. The turnover has been marginal

If there is a tab S4 in 2019 take it with a pinch of salt as it will be a minor jump made with cheaper than flagship standard materials for that year.

Remember note 7 was the basis of tab S3 and it was a forced release due to that device's failure. Very well a note 9 could be the basis of tab S4 but this is unlikely unless apple forces some competition with the ipad which doesn't seem to progress in tech much more unless they give a bigger iPhone x treatment

I hope they release something next year to be at least a bit more competitive with the iPad Pro. The Tab S3 still retails for £600 in the UK and despite my deep dislike for iOS the S3 is a bad joke when compared to the iPad Pro 10.5. It's like they've given up.

How is this a bad joke. We'd like to know please

I wish they'd go back to 10.5" screens and in widescreen, but oh well. Tab S3 is pretty good so far. Battery life is amazing.

That is quite hard as we follow apple 📣😉. But on a serious note an 18.5:9 display is being simulated for a model larger than 8 inch but see it's like a small ruler 2:1 or similar ratio seems not feasible for a tablet. A 10.1 is more likely the size but a 12 inch is more likely as with the galaxy book but this defeats the purpose of tablet but 3:2 is more sensible than even a 16:9 ratio

I'd prefer an exact clone of the iPad Pro (10.5" an 4:3) because 4:3 will give you a larger area for the same diagonal length and I believe it's a more balanced form factor where only video suffers a little bit, but at this point I would take a proper, updated version of my 16:10 Tab S without hesitating.

That was 16:9 ratio of 8.4 and 10.5

8.4 still gives lesser area than a 9.7 even on Netflix 10.5 is too big for productivity on tab s3 a 16:9 video takes exactly 9.1 inches 18:9 video gives around 8.3ish 8.4 a universum 2:1 aka stranger things.
A typical movies gives about 8.9 at best movies have their own custom 2:(undefined) ratios the second part is decided by producers and cinematographers Imax is 1.43:1 but that video size won't release anywhere else but on theatre. 21:9 is the widescreen cinema standard 2.35:1 or 2.40:1 so this is how the most movies and select shows on Netflix and Amazon will be in so most are at 8.5 to 8.9 range depending on their choice. Thus tab s3 is still better than an 8 inch tab S2 and the black bars give it a theatre feel also the black areas on the AMOLED display means pixels are turned off thus saving a Lotta battery.

A bigger size perhaps a 10.1 is feasible with a 16:9 aspect ratio especially with a move to 4k this is the best option but don't expect anything until 2020

but hey I see the ipad pro 2017 in malls and shops for their customer help even for mc Donald digital order skip the que thingy

How do you know all this inside info on the tab s3? Do you work with Samsung?

Should we expect a price drop? It goes on sale every couple weeks at Best Buy or other retailers for $500 but IMO that's still way too expensive for it, especially being out almost 10 months now. If it was on sale for like $420 then I'd consider buying it.

I know tablets don't go obsolete as fast as phones but still. Even the Tab s2 when not on sale is too expensive for something that has been out since Sept 2015.

I agree. I just replaced my Tab S 10.5 with a S3. I'll miss the screen ratio when I'm watching Netflix.
I kept the S3 and the 10.5.

The Tab S 10.5 is just too good for Netflix and it's not worth that much on eBay. Maybe 150.

It's too bad the S3 did not come in the 8" form factor I hope that changes for the S4. I definitely want USB-C fast charging, quad speakers, better DAC, S-Pen, 2K AMOLED, 4-6GB of RAM, 64GB internal storage and Android 9.0 is the only big buying factors for me. Oh and has to be 8" 16:9 ratio.

Recently google pixel c was discontinued by Google for purchase. It's been more than three years since that wonderful thing released but that's mostly thanks to Nvidia Tegra and pixel being the best Android experience not to mention the updates which it gets faster than the tab s3 which is currently stuck at August security patch don't expect a proper update till March end at the very least

I find in UAE it's very much cheaper you can use pricena app or website to check prices. I got it from India for 48k Inr due to my personal reasons but I haven't regretted spending an extra 15 k which I could have saved if I got it here. Still worth it.

Also had got the tab S2 here. Checked the tab s3 at major retailers here and it was even cheaper than USA generally UAE is really cheaper but with VAT that is about to change so.

Let's just say one of my colleague from University works at a certain South Korean giant's Display division specifically HDR

No HDR Tab S3 is way better or you could buy the Galaxy Book 12 which also supports Netflix HDR but Amazon doesn't.

No looking at a 4k HDR+ widescreen cinevision display but this isn't guaranteed unless LG Display ups the game which it just yesterday has with its 88 inch 8K OLED display. So do expect a 4K HDR+ tablet along the lines of the galaxy book size range but the exact value will vary until a specific aspect ratio is settled upon but 3:2 is what were looking at currently. Trying for a 18.5:9 or 18:9 but not really feasible in the tests conducted so far

I'm sorry, how absolutely autistic do you have to be to say such an untruth?
