I found that disabling the last 4 cores (4,5,6,7) actually improves the performance.

I'm using CM ROM + screen downgraded to 720 + disabled the last 4 cores, and this phone it's a dream.

There has NEVER been any indication that any kind of performance improving update is coming.

Guys, do yourself and everyone a favor. Register at the motorola.com forum and start complaining LOUDLY in there.
My guess is that the chances of being heard, are much bigger there...
