when screen locks it won't accept my finger swipe or provide keyboard

I just updated my Samsung Galaxy S5 with software updates pushed by T-mobile. Now I can't unlock my screen without restarting it. If I restart it, I can unlock it with my fingerprint. Otherwise, I can't use my fingerprint and it also will not provide me a keyboard to enter my backup password.

Did you resolve this in any way? I'm having exactly the same problem with my S5 now!
