When the light goes off on the stand, do I assume my phone is fully charged?

I charge it in the night and sometimes I look at it and the light is off, then later it might be on. I guess I should have read the "instructions" just didnt' think I needed to!

Welcome to Android Central! Which charging stand, and which phone? Is it a wireless charger? You're most likely correct--most chargers have a charging indicator light that will turn off when not actively charging. It might have turned on intermittently later as the charger was trickle charging to maintain it at 100%.
