When the wifi is on I can't receive any calls on my samsung s7 edge !

Just bought this new phone 1 month ago...was very happy with it till now...it's been 2 days I can't receive any calls or sms when the wifi is on !! When anybody calls me it doesn't connect at all ...I don't understand

Welcome to the forums. I've read about some funny problems related to the Smart Network Switch. Not sure if that's your case, but worth a try. Go to settings - Wi-Fi - more - Smart network switch - switch it off.

Another thought. Do you have WiFi calling enabled? If so, disable it and see if it makes any difference.

Last... try factory reset

Who is your provider?
Have you talked to them?
Which version of Edge do you have?
Have you rebooted?
What if wifi is on, but not connected to anything?

Provider? Version refers to which hardware, what model number? SM-G935A is AT&T's version. When you turn wifi on does it come up and ask you to verify your address for purpose of 911?

That's the international version. I suspect you have wifi calling on and its not supported by your provider, whoever that provider might be.

I don't have advanced calling in the settings to disable the wifi calling...so I don't know from where. But suppose this is true could I place calls also?? Because I don't have any problems placing calls, it's only when receiving a regular call with the wifi on.
On another side I am receiving wifi calls perfectly using Whatsapp or Line...but no regular calls !!!

If you did all those steps suggested and you are still having problems it probably would be best to talk to your provider or the store you bought the s7e from

Ok...went back to the store and they told me to switch from 4G to 3G. It seems the problem was linked to the LTE/4G connection. Now my phone is on 3G and I'm receiving calls normally.
