When trying to SideSync on my Tab S2

When trying to SideSync on my Tab S2 to my laptop the screen went blank and now I am unable to get it back and it doesn't sync into the laptop.
How can I get my S2 pad to work again?

Make sure you have it set for MTP (file transfer) when it's connected to the laptop, not Charging. (Pull down the notifications.)
