When using speakerphone, it will go back to not using speakerphone on its own

The above question will happen repeatedly during the same call when i turn speakerphone back on.

Does it happen when you cover the proximity sensor?

Welcome to Android Central! Is it possible you're inadvertently tapping the speakerphone toggle button? Or do you have a screen protector, in which case there might be a phantom touch happening?
