Android Central Question

I've done everything: cache wipe, hard reset, factory reset, even sent in my previous brand new s9 for warranty replacement and the new one has the same problem. When is Android going to release an update to fix this? I downloaded the newest update yesterday and it didn't do a thing.

For all I know as a non-Samsung user there may be such a problem, but have you checked in Battery Usage on both phones that it’s nothing to do with your apps and settings?
Factory Resets are all very well, but not if you download all the same stuff you had before, and you haven’t told us whether you did do that.

If you can , provide a screenshot of your battery stat .

My battery life is actually better than it was on Oreo. Are you using wifi calling? It's supposed to keep secure, constant connection to your provider for rerouting. It's pretty heavy for the battery AFAIR. Pie also has machine learning of your usage, and it will put apps to sleep if you use them rarely. But it has to learn first and it needs a bit of time for that.

Same here. The battery life is better now than it was on Oreo. If you have already done a factory reset then it is most likely an app or a certain setting like wifi calling or maybe poor reception.
