Personally, I hope I can turn it down. I prefer to keep the software that comes on a phone as updates always slow them down, regardless of how it's supposed to improve things. Unless the software is groundbreaking and new, there's no need. It looks like the N7 is having a few issues with the new update, and it's a Nexus!
LG will probably keep a similar UI for the phone. Android 4.4 brings lots of system and performance updates.

I have read it to be in 2014 late 1st quarter, so March or so.
I'm thinking more of a may/june release. Especially with how slow Verizon is with updates. I really just want to use Google Wallet AND have wifi calling. Is that too much to ask for??

1.5gb is huge. I wonder what LG is doing here? I dont ever remember an update being so large on any previous phone i've had.
