When will Note 7 start selling again?

I just returned my "safe" Note 7 today cause it got uncomfortably warm and the battery drained quicker than the one that got recalled. Anyone know when they will start selling them again?

I don't know if there is a hard date, but the last buzz I heard about it was within a week or two of whenever that was, so I'd expect it to be very soon. Hopefully someone not badly repeating hearsay will be able to chime in here.

That would be nice after all the headache. After the recall I went with the iPhone 7 plus and it is nothing like the N7. yeah, I got the itch back.

Wait a minute. If you returned a "safe" Note7, you should get an exchange right then and there, unless you just returned it and wanted a refund. In that case, you wouldn't be asking when they would start selling them again.

I'm waiting for tmobile to sell them as well. Although on the Verizon website it says it's backordered until the 10th-11th (depending on color).

Just a bit of info: the iPhone 7 Plus is backorded until November. The tmobile twitter thread said that a few days ago and the Verizon site says 11/30.

I exchanged the new "safe" note 7 this past weekend as well after using it for the very first time for a week after switching over from an iphone for years. I too was experiencing some warm use and quick battery drain. Got another note7 from Best Buy, but I am still experiencing some quick battery drain. I have performed a factory default and I am keeping note on which apps I'm installing. I want to see if the battery drains as quick as it did without really any apps on it.

I thought that they were back on sale already, but others are saying late October? Are the ones I purchased the "recalled" version and not the actual true "new" version?

This battery drain is making me think twice about switching over to a Samsung device.

I'm waiting for Best Buy to hopefully carry the unlocked version. Their unlocked versions are usually cheaper than Tmobile. The Edge one came out late June at Best Buy, so I hope that means sometime in Nov they get the unlocked Note 7 then.

Battery never over 120F and lithium batteries are nit supposed to ignite at that temp. Of course mine never did. With lagging and periodically unresponsive screen I was glad to return it for full refund.

I hope they start selling again before Christmas. That's a long time to wait. Hopefully Samsung is adding some new refinements in the meantime.

The other downside is if the S8 line is released a bit earlier. What happens if I get the Note again and the S8 Edge has a lot of improvements and features, minus spen of course.
