When will S3 drop to $0 on VZW's own website or at BestBuy? (only from these two
sources, NOT at any other 3rd party sellers)

I bought my current Verizon Galaxy Nexus for only $73 during the week it launched.
(back in December) 8 months later, it's now $0 at BestBuy.

At this rate, can I expect to see the Verizon Galaxy S3 for $0 around Groundhog Day
next year?(about 8 months from now)

I'd say it depends on what comes out in the next few months. As for now, it's still the most powerful phone Verizon has in their lineup. I haven't heard of anything new coming out anytime soon, so it'll probably be a while. My guess would be sometime next Summer.

8 months is a pretty good estimate actually -- that's about the time it takes a few more new devices to supersede it as the "top of the line" device. For a device this popular, it may a take a little longer though, just depends on whether or not it continues to sell.

The rezound is still 199 dollars after about 10 months even though it went on sale once. I believe the Samsung
galaxy 3 will be at 199 dollars for a while as I believe android devices are slowing down in releases.

I'd give it about 10months. They may drop it by 50$ for the holidays. That's all I cam see. Look at the Maxx, I think that only went down by 30$ since it's release.

I would tend to agree with the others here. It is widely being touted as the "Flagship" Android device. It's kind of the a franchise tag, lol. As long as it has this designation it's going to stay up in price.

Amazon Wireless has it for $150 and Radioshack has it online for $150. Would BestBuy match it?

I found it at Walmart (in store) for $150. I got Bestbuy (I had the $50 phone freedom deal plus two phones to turn in) to price match and managed to get the price for 2 S3's down to $200 total. So there are some things you can do to get that price down.
