When will the Galaxy S3 get KitKat?

When will android kitkat be released on samsung galaxy s3? My region is Lebanon.

It might be awhile, if at all. Vodafone Australia has been the only international carrier so far to announce the release of KitKat on the S3, though they are still sitting in limbo and aren't sure when it will even happen for them.

Samsung is dragging their feet and for good reason too. When the update came out for many people that have the S3 in the U.S., there were and still are a lot of issues for them after the update.

Well my Canadian s3 got the kit at update quite some time ago, so it should be along sooner rather than later

I heard that there was a better chance of the update being made available for lte versions of the s3.

Hi Matt

I'm waiting for it too. One day I hear it will be out in a few days, those days pass, then nothing. Apparently it isn't dead in the water yet though.

Perhaps someone else can shed some light on this?
