When will the Moto X 2014 be released on Verizon?

I don't seem to be able to get a Moto X other than the Developer Edition for verizon... Is this true or am I missing something?

If you are talking about the 2014 x, you cannot get any version at the moment. And there will never be a developer edition for Verizon this year...

Within 2 weeks it will be announced for Verizon. And as others have said, there will be no dev edition for Big Red this year.

Saw a rumor yesterday that said Moto Maker will open for Verizon on 9/26

The day before Punit Soni announced he was leaving Motorola, he made a comment in Google+ regarding Verizon and a Pure/Developer edition, saying that HE had changed his mind about it, but that it would be complicated to get it released. Kind of makes you wonder if that wasn't somehow tied into his leaving?
