Hi all,

Following the Note 5 topics, there are many things that "may" still apply to the Note 6. For example, things to change in setup, disabling programs, things to do for the best battery life. What will you do along the lines of setup?

I never do things like disable programs or try to manipulate the battery life. Phones work fine for me now days.

I will set up the screens to my liking. I love playing around with those and change them once in a while. Widgets, apps, folders, etc.

I hope they still have themes. I like my Sunday Morning theme I'm using on my Note 5. But I might try a different one for a change in a new phone.

Add apps and items as needed. Beauty App for selfies. Spen add ins as necessary.

Then play around with it some more.

Ill only get the Note 6 if it comes with a battery with 3600 or more since it'll probably be non-removable. The Note 6 also needs to come with an SD card slot for me. So if it matches my necessities:

Throw in a 200gb

Turn off everything I don't need that sucks up battery (after the mandatory tutorial and initial setup obviously)

Restore Samsung and Google accounts.

Download all the apps I need for work and entertainment.

Watch an HD video to test out the screen

Open a whole bunch of apps to see how well the processor can handle them.

Head to Android Central and see how everyone else is doing with their devices.

Get back to real life lol

Drop it off the roof to see if it breaks then post the video to youtube.

I am like the second poster on the link thread. I don't understand what the point is. If I don't use something I don't let it bother me and never worry about it. I'm not wasting my time figuring out what I don't need, then trying to figure out which one if I do need one of them later.

My usage is different then anyone else, so a list like this wouldn't apply to me. YMMV

Put a screen protector on it, and a Dbrand, Sending case with holster. Then speedtest out the wazoo...

Drop it in the water to see if it is really water proof!

Transfer data from my old phone.

I mean, who doesn't do that before playing with the phone?

Maybe I'm one of the few.

Tmobile did that for me from my S5 to Note 5. Except apps. I like to start over and just put on what I use. Sometimes I try an app and not use it as much add I thought I would.

First I am going to try to calm the rapid heart rate down, then I will open the box and admire how beautiful it is. After that I plan on going camera crazy like we all do when we first get a great phone with a good or great camera just go nuts we all turn into semi pro photographers taking macro shots and what not. Then I will log onto the forums here and complain if there are any flaws on the phone since most likely it will cost over 750.00.

I will personalize to my needs and liking like I always do and ENJOY it
