Whenever I press my volume buttons (whether im connected to bluetooth or not) media volume wont play

Whenever I try to play any type of audio from my phone "in call volume" gets stuck and it plays only through the ear speaker nothing else. Im so over it i just want to listen to my music at a normal level. I have an S8. HELP PLEASE. I've restarted my phone, I've cleared cashe, I've tried everything.

Welcome to Android Central! Sorry, can you clarify -- are you saying that when you play music and press the volume buttons, it only adjusts the Call Volume? What if you expand the volume sliders to show all of them -- can you adjust the Media Volume then?
