where 2.1 leak users able to get 2.1 OTA no problem?

I was wondering where people with a motorola droid running a 2.1 leak not rooted able to get the OTA update? I'm worried about the Eris running a 2.1 leak will not being able to upgrade to the official version when it comes out. So if moto droid users were able to I think I will be able to. anyone know if they did?
