When I trasfer pdf files from my Macbook to my Google Nexus 7, where are they saved on my Nexus? I cant find them.

Most times the system will place them in the /sdcard/Download folder but some apps will place them in a custom folder made by the app.

You can use a file explorer to locate these files and their folders. I personally use ES File Explorer. Check the market for this or other explorers of your likings.

You'll find a lot of stuff under the "DCIM" folder, which is an odd choice (since it's typically only designed for photos and videos taken by the camera), but take a peek in there if you can't find something at one of the other folders.

I use AntTek explorer. It's so easy, if you downloaded it, it will be in the downloads folder. If you transfered it using bluetooth, it will be in the bluetooth folder and so on. Very easy to navigate, add/delete folders as well. Plus it got a great review by cnet.

I use Astro file manager. This shows you all of the folders in the device.
