Where are my photos that i backed up on google?

I have a new phone... But I brought the same phone and the number did not change. I can't find any of my photos. Why didn't they transfer over automatically?

Have you checked photos.google.com ? How were you backing them up to Google? What device(s)? Some don't come with the Photos app automatically, and if they do it may not be set up to back up by default.
