I have a few Mp3 files that I want to use as sounds with my Messages app. What folder should I place these Mp3 files in? It doesn't appear to be with Ringtones. Thanks.

If you don't see a "Notifications" folder, you can make one and place your MP3 files in there. I have a few notification tone MP3s I take from phone to phone, and the S10 will pick them up once you create the folder and add them.

Make sure you create the "Notifications" folder at the same folder level as the "Ringtones" folder, not inside that folder.

I have a whole folder on my SD card I don't remember if I named it Ringtones or Notifications now but I use text tones for people and ringtones for people but their all in one folder is that ok? And so once I get my phone I need to make new folder and have it internal not on my SD card? I remember one time going to change a sound and I saw everything ones on my card and internal ones. I don't know I just want to do it right and make sure I do it right.

There is a Notifications folder in the root. I added Mp3s there, and they show up when I choose to use a custom sound for a given contact. There also is a Ringtones folder, but it is not used in conjunction with messaging. Thanks very much!
