Where are the desktop google maps 'send to my device' notifications stored on my Android phone?

I am using the desktop version of google maps for the same google account as the one on my P20 pro android phone. Both accounts are logged in. I select send to my device and the notification appears in the top of my android phone. Selecting it it opens up in google maps. No problems. If I want to use this the next day or next week I don't know where to retrieve it from. Going to google maps/settings/notifications it is not there?? Any ideas or is the initial selection of the notification a 'one time useage'?

The initial selection is enough. If you're ever in an area the map covers, and have no internet connection, you'll still see a map. (That's all downloading a map does - you still need an internet connection to start navigation, because the address has to be converted [by Google's server] into a lat/lon coordinate.)
