Where are the games installed in Android in 4.1.2?

Hello i have Samsung Galaxy core I8262, and i have installed a lot of games on it. The default size on the phone i would guess 4/5 GB, their is ext SD card which is also 4 GB.
I opened the SD card and saw their weren't any game's installed on it. So it must be in the phone, i opened by My Files and ES File Explorer, and found some apk application on the directory structure. and i am not able to copy it as well.
But what i want to know is where are the game's installed in the phone memory.

Any suggestion is welcomed.

Welcome to Android Central! Android apps and games aren't installed the same way that Windows games are. You're not necessarily going to see the app's files anywhere obvious, and if you tinker with them, you're liable to make those apps (and possibly your system) crash.

You can see a list of all of your installed apps by bringing up the app drawer (usually the circular icon with a grid of dots in it, in the center of your bottom tray), or by going to Settings/Apps/Downloaded.

Downloaded from GooglePlay works nicely and flawlessly. But those uploaded in some blogs are not working, it asks for some update and fails to do so.

Thank you for replying back, so the installed games would be extracted in the phone memory. GoFile Master is a file manager and i happened to see the game file in the application/category section. So i am not able to copy it, so basically they do not remain in its default format form i.e., apk extension (rather they are extracted, right !)
Another question those apk files i download from Googleplay, they must be in apk formats, is their any way i could copy those files before/after installation of the games.
Some are very good, and i want to copy/backup those , instead of downloading them again and again.
Pardon my writing, hope its understandable.

I'm afraid I don't know the answers to your questions, but I'd caution you against downloading game files uploaded to blogs. If they are games that normally are purchased, and the files are being made available for free, that would be piracy. Moreover, downloading and installing app files from unregulated sites like a blog is a very good way of catching malware!

I'm guessing maybe the device isn't rooted?
ES has really been a pain for me before not showing things 5 minutes after I had just been in the same folder and saw the files even though my phone and tablet are rooted.

Although I am hesitant on being so new here and helping someone that spoke of piracy.

The reason the apps you STOLE aren't working is because they need and update and without the licensing stuff that you need along with the apks it can't update itself.

Thanks for the warning about piracy, normally i would understand that for a pc software. But i downloaded a couple of apk and ran them, some runs nicely, but lately after 01 installation of apk, by usual free game downloads from Googleplay has started to show some lag. So i have decided to stop downloading free full apks.

Does anyone know where the default game stores it save file ,like some cache memory, incase i plan to do a factory format.

Probably under /storage/sdcard0/Android/data. Could also be on the external SD card, if you have one, which would be /storage/sdcard1/Android/data.

Do you mean small apk games?
Or bigg games with obb files?

Are you rooted?
