Where did my apps go?

[AC Question]

I recently traded in my Note7 for the new (non-exploding) one. All of my apps are missing even tho we did a backup! The guy at Verizon said if I waited at the store it would be about 2 hours before it all backed up since I had 2000+ pics so I left. Now I have none of my old apps. How do I get them back? Did he forget to tell me something??
Help!!

I don't understand what you are saying. You did a back up? Using what? Where is the back up? On your PC? Or did you leave the back up, perhaps on a USB stick, at the store? Did you ask the store to restore your data? WHere is the back up now?

I used Verizon cloud on my phone to back up my content.

You cannot get all the apps as it was on your old phone if it is not properly backed up. But still you can re download and install those apps by opening the Google Playstore app and tapping on the "My Apps" in the left menu. All the previous apps installed through play store will be there.

Ah. I remember reading that Verizon disabled proper Samsung Cloud Backup to force you to use the inferior Verizon cloud.

I was finally able to get a hold of Verizon. I just had to link my gmail account and they call popped up in my play store!
