Where did the Separate Sound app go from settings

On my Samsung Galaxy S8, I had a setting under Sounds, Advanced Sounds, to separate sound to my phone or other, such as Bluetooth. I recently looked and the setting option is gone, it does not show. On my wife's new S20 FE, the option is there.

Has this been deleted by Samsung or Android, any options to restore this option? Thanks.

Not that this is any help, but I can't find the Separate Sounds App in settings either on my still working S8.

I can search and find the system app for it, so it's there, but it's not showing up in Settings > Sounds and vibration > Advanced sound settings - all that's there is "Sound quality and effects" with the Dolby Atmos settings and equalizer.

It's on an S9 we still have that's running Android 10 and One UI 2.5, and on my current S20 FE with Android 11 with One UI 3.1. Although, there it's been moved to the bottom of the the main "Sound and vibration" page.

The S8 is still on Android 9 and One UI 1.0.

Welcome to Android Central! I moved this from the Galaxy S forum (for the ancient original S phone) to the S8 forum.

Exactly my problem. A true mystery, how did this end up this way? It definitely worked earlier, not sure if a system update changed or what. Any input welcome. Thanks.

Try sound assistant in Samsung galaxy store , its by Samsung Screenshot_20210813-002138_Galaxy%20Store.jpg

Check out SoundAssistant on the Android app store, recommended by on of the advisors, Mustang7757, seems to work fine.
