Where Does Samsung (Or Anyone Else) Go After The S6?

Hey, I'm not the one who enumerated those things, you did! all those things and etc etc etc are basically the Razr. Duh?
You were being light hearted. Good.

There were several Razr's. Most never appeared in the UK, afaik. You meant the original flip Razr with just a keypad.

Naw - actually it was the Sony Ericsson P910i that did so many things right. :sob:

5 way scroll wheel (click in, click back/forward, scroll up/down), pen writing, pen with on screen keyboard, fold out qwerty keyboard.

I'll step back now, because the last time I brought up integrated ergonomic controls, a lot of people thought I was trying to drown their baby and became vicious.

Who knows? We always say what could they do next?.. Then they find something to do and we're like... Man I want that!

:p

I think that soon enough we will begin to see devices that are more centered around virtual reality along with holographic display. With Microsoft already allowing people to demo their hololens technology I honestly think we could begin to see a relatively practical product utilizing those features within the next 10-15 years.

I think the OP has a point. We are kind of at a point of diminishing return. Yes there will be nice improvements in newer phones but I think most people will not be compelled to upgrade as often as we have been. Personally I am planning on upgrading less often as I don't think the rate of advances will be that compelling to me. I use to upgrade every 6 - 12 months, but I think I will be going longer maybe 24-36 months.

Its rumored the Galaxy S7 will have an eye scanner. The ZTE Grand 3 already utilizes this tech, although its slow, it will get better, and Samsung might make it better

I'll be upgrading once a year as usual. Technology will continue to move fast. Next year's phones will have something new to offer. Samsung won't sit still or it will go out of business.

I remember having a S2 on a 18 month contract. Towards the end it felt so slow and old feeling that I went straight to a S4 on a 12 month deal missing out the S3 altogether.

I'll be looking forward to the Note5 and/or the S7 next year.

Are you kidding? Batteries is where to go. Build a better battery and they will come. The current flagship are weak and won't last a full day with heavy use. These companies build these great phones that can do so much and people are now limited by the batteries. Charging tech has improved but that's just a band aid.

Lot of things, foldable display, revolutionary new battery technology, contact free wireless charging. Etc.

You won't be singing that time when your s6 battery starts degrading in a year. lol. Kind of kidding.

I saw a tv show where graphene will revolutionise battery cell technology and also make it bendable. Will also be used to construct bendable screens, motherboards and components. A roll up phone.
I was searching for Bugs Bunny.
