The Pixel 9 is the current top Google phone. Where has everyone gone? I still see posts in the pixel 6 forums. Has interest dropped off so quickly?

Perhaps the Pixel 9 lineup of phones do not have many problems? People tend to post in technical forums because something is wrong with their device(s).

Maybe it's a sign that the last few generations of Pixels have been really good so there's nothing to complain about. I'm really happy with my 8 pro and 7...they just get the job done.
I agree with these comments. I also think that the Pixel 9 series (and many other phones these days) is just a really good iterative update of an already really good phone, so there's not a huge amount of stuff to write about. Perhaps the biggest update is the Gemini stuff, but I feel that the vast majority of users still don't care about AI.

I'm here, loving my 9 Pro XL. It's so smooth and stable I really have nothing to complain about. Stock is actually what I tried to achieve with previous devices all the way back to the old windows mobile stuff back in 2005-07 or so and from day one the Pixel has been exceptional. Nothing really needs changing. I'm sure there are custom ROMs out there that do whatever you want if you don't want stock but stock is fine with me. Everything works, performance is great and I don't have to always know where a charger is.

While not the most powerful of processors, this phone just works so well and smoothly for me. I've been very pleased and it's been a great experience. I remember bringing up this topic on the P8P. It takes care of business just like it should. No complaints.

Pixel 8 Pro checking in. This phone was in my top 3 all time when I got it. Immediately. Still in love with it. It's actually gonna be hard when the 10 Pro XL is available. I'm sure the trade-in will be too enticing though.
