where is mail app on samsung tab a8?

[Android Central Question]

I just acquired a new Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 10.5" tablet. So far so good, but the mail icon from the front page of all my other Android devices is missing.
I did also (then) use Samsung's smart-transfer utility, but it didn't install it either.
I do have Outlook as an option, but am used to the built-in one.
I wonder why it is missing,and how to get it.

Welcome to Android Central! I think Gmail is the stock email app on Samsung tablets now. I checked my Galaxy A7 lite, and there's no Samsung Email app on there (although I can't remember if I might have uninstalled it when I was first setting it up).
