Where is Remote PC (Verizon)

I purchased the Verizon version of the Note Pro 12.2 and can't find the Remote PC app. Is there some trick to finding our installing it?

Any suggestions for a good alternative if the Verizon version excludes Remote PC?

I have tried Remote PC without any luck. I found the app in the Samsung online store (free) and loaded to my 12.2. As per the instructions I went (on my desktop) to the “remotepc.rview.com” site, logged in with my Samsung account, and tried to download the desktop software.

It appears to start the install but after a while, just stops. No installation, no icon on the desktop, no listing when I click Start and then Show All Programs. I tried the install many times; nada.

Nothing. I got out of IE, went back in, still the same as above.

I rebooted, and still the same as above.

I removed it from 12.2 and am also looking for an alternative.

I've always used logmein the app isn't free but I think it works well. I have yet to try it with my new note pro yet as I just got it yesterday.

Tried RemotePC and couldn't get it to work consistently so I switched to Teamviewer.

I've been using TeamViewer for a couple weeks now and I'm very happy with it. Based on what others are saying, I probably would have switched to it even if the Verizon version was supplied with RemotePC.

If you don't have a Windows Professional edition and not sure about setting up port forwarding on your router, then TeamViewer is your best option. But if you do have WinPro and know how to set up your router, the Microsoft Remote Desktop app is hands down the best remote program for the Note.

Remote PC is not included with the Verison Note Pro according to the Samsung site.
