How come I can't find Vlingo in the Play Store?

How come I can't find Vlingo in the Play Store?

Looks like they have it hidden for some weird reason. Go to their site (Android Voice to Text and Voice Recognition Apps | Vlingo) and click the yellow "download" button. I guess you have to give them your email address or cell phone number and they'll send you the Play Store address.

I don't know what's with all the cloak-and-dagger stuff.

Looks like Vlingo may have been "assimilated" into Dragon:

Yeah, for a few months after Dragon had combined with Vlingo, it was actually called in the Play Store "Vlingo is now Dragon."
