Where to buy?

Google shows it for $299 but tmobile is $450 and amazon etc is higher. Where is this mythical pricing Google I offering?

Just buy it from the Google Play store. 299 for the 8GB version, and 350 for the 16GB version straight from the Google Play Store.

A few months ago before T-Mobile got rid of the contract pricing, you could get the N4 for free with two year contract, cancel the account after paying the first month, pay the $200 cancelation fee and still get the phone (16GB) cheaper than what Google was charging. Now the best place is Google.

Maybe it's just me but if I open playstore and try to search for nexus 4 I only see books pop up. Can someone in the US besides me five it a shot and see if it works? I even clicked on someone else's link and it still just defulted to the main page.

I've often had trouble getting to it through the App and have have to use the website version.. Not sure if that's been fixed yet or not, but that might be the issue you're describing.

Ok thanks for telling me those links are not working on my phone and I don't have my laptop with me. Ill def be ordering one. At first I was sceptical about straighttalk but after many articles and YouTube it looks like a great option if you already own a phone. I was going to go ATT anyway so this is huge.

If you access the playstore through your Chrome Browser App instead of the Play Store App and it defaults to the Play Store App when you click a link, you can do a Google search for "Google Play Store" and then long press one of the links and select, "open in a new tab" and that gave me the browser version on my GNex. The N4 is on the front page of that and there is a dark blue devices section at the bottom of the list of sections on the left.

I'm using Firefox on the phone. It worked for me to use the site play.google.com . Picture of the Nexus was on the first page; a few clicks from there got me to a button to add to cart.

All Nexus 4s are unlocked. There is no such thing as a locked Nexus 4 no matter who you buy it from.

Wrong. There is no such thing as a locked Nexus 4. They all come from Google unlocked. I originally ordered mine from T-Mobile and have used it with AT&T. It is unlocked as anyone else's.
