Well I've done it yet again... Using the app "Where's My Droid", I activated the hidden feature which hides the icon for the app. The only problem is that I've forgotten the code I use to "call" and gain access to the app again.

Anyone have any ideas or methods or either getting into the app or resetting the code?

Previously I had to full wipe my phone in order to get it and I'd rather not do so unless there's no other way. When I reached out to the WMD app makers, I simply got a generic reply back. A bit annoying honestly. Anyone have any ideas?

Go to Settings>Security>Device Administrators, and see if Where's My Droid is checked there. If so, uncheck it, then see if you can uninstall it.

Yeah--but the thief has to know enough to check the Device Administrators, and I'd venture to guess that most average hoodlums out there will just look at the App Drawer. But you shouldn't let a thief even get that far--in other words, make sure you have a good lockscreen setup.

Hi,

The "Hide App Icon" for Where's My Droid app doesn't allow me to select the box so won't hide the icon. Can anyone help with this?

Thank you
