We are good. We finally got power back on about 2pm today, so it was off about 36 hrs. I got all of my downed limbs cut up yesterday and just have a bit more to drag to the curb. Don't know if they'll do a pick up or if I'll have to haul it to the brush drop-off site.

I feel your pain. A little over a year ago me and my family were displaced for 3 days, jumping hotels after a tornado. No damage to the house but with a one year old no power is not an option. And with the Alabama heat we need air conditioning. Glad your power is back on.

I tried to capture the incredible sunset tonight, but this is as close as I could get. I had to crank up the HDR afterwards to come close. The whole western sky (well all of it I could see) was lit up orange.
