A
Android Central Question
Hi, i accidentally deleted files from my phone during a factory reset.
I'd normally back up my files prior to a reset but on the Xperia, prior to
initiating the reset, it asks if you would also like to delete personal files such as
pictures etc during the reset and provides a check box for you to tick if you wish to do so. I didn't tick the box so naturally assumed that a factory reset would take place but leave my personal data (Pictures etc) on there.
I understand that it's possible to download Android Recovery Software but i worry what happens to the restored files after using the software to recover them. In other words, I get a copy but wonder if the people who made the software get a copy too? Maybe that's why they make the software in the first place?
Some advice would be appreciated.
