I gotta upgrade on Sprint, I have a htc one and I want to upgrade to a spark phone, m7 isn't spark compatible.

I want something and I really want to keep it for 2 years, honestly, I don't wanna do the phone thing much anymore. I am worried about android and something that will last for at least 2 years, this leave Touchwiz outta the discussion or anything samsung lol

I'm thinking the HTC One is pretty fast, light skin and doesn't have much slow downs but I am worried about the non removable battery and if it will get updates for at least 2 years.

I like the L3 G3, removable battery, bigger screen but LG and updates is a problem.

Even though sprint kinda sucks my bill is pretty cheap so I'm sticking with them, I really don't want a iphone but it's pretty reliable and a guarenteed 2 or 3 year device.

Moto X isn't coming to sprint, Nexus 6 is way too big.

I was wondering if I should get the M8 or the G3, or should I wait for next years models...

If you can choose one android phone to use for a entire 2 years what would it be?

Don't say X cuz sprint doesn't have that.

I'd probably choose the S5 or the note 4
I know you said no samsung, but if you are keeping it for two years, you are probably going to need to change the battery
And I personally don't really like the G3 much, not really sure why. I just don't. Probably what I've heard about it.

Yes Miami,

I don't know about the Note 4 or s5, I don't care for samsung even though it's probably the closest thing to apple. Slow downs on touchwiz is a problem.

Yeah I mean I feel you on that

You could always root the phone and install a custom ROM like cyanogenmod

None, I change phones several times a year. And that's why GSM is great since it makes it much easier. I can't help you with Sprint situation aside from going to a GSM carrier, its not just ease of swapping phone but more phone choices.

When you say 2 years, it means to me a phone that gets lots of updates. So try to get a stock Android device that have good updates. Which is not many right now for Sprint except the Nexus 5 and original Moto X.

I would not get anything other than a Nexus long term. It's the only phone guaranteed to be supported.

Android is to a point where at least if you get a phone now it will more than likely get android L within those 2 years. And 4.4 is a pretty good operating system. Smooth with little bugs. It isn't as bad as the early days of android where everything needed improvement. I'd feel safe with anything with at least a 1080p screen, snapdragon 801, and 2gb of ram. Moto x, nexus if possible, maybe a sony z3 or note 4.

If I was forced too, I would go with LG G3. IMO it's the best android released this year, as much as I love the new Material Design (Build Quality, LOL) of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, I can't get over what LG did with the Body/Size and impressive UI which now my favourite.

i think a Nexus would fit what you're looking for or a Google Edition of some other flagship!

since you find the upcoming Nexus 6 too big, does your carrier has Nexus 5? or maybe even Moto X 2013?

also look for the GE i talked about!
