It most likely will. There is a reason why, as far as I know anyone?, no manufacture makes a fully metal case without pulling some method of putting an antenna outside or like on the iPhone along the side.
What I've never understood is why a metal back couldn't be turned into an antenna. Probably due to attenuation or something.

After days and days of ripping my hair out trying to decide... I'm going with the white 32GB. Not a fan of blue and I think the white will match better with cases... I may go all out and even put a white case on it .

Time for a change.. I've always owned black phones.. the blue is close to black,, BUT.. it's not. I actually like the clean look of the white.. looks more elegant to me... and I'm not afraid that it may resemble an iphone cause I could care less... I have nothing against it. Theres always the chance I may change my mind when I see the blue in person,, but I doubt it,, there's something about blue and black mixed together that I just don't like. Okay.. enough with the color.. on to the important stuff, like the actual phone itself

My biggest concern is wear. Do you guys think the white will start looking grungy after a while? I plan on having his phone for 1.5 + years and I hate worn out looking devices. My release date Thunderbolt still looks brand new (you couldn't tell it was used).
