Which did you buy - Pixel 2 or 2 XL ?

I switched from a Moto Z Play to the 128gb black Pixel (not XL). The battery life is surprisingly very good. Is it as good as the Z Play? Of course not. But I'd say it's about 2/3 as good as the Z Play. I'm getting about 7 hours SOT and a little more than one day total.

And don't forget, outside of battery life, everything about the Pixel would be an improvement. Biggest thing for me is how much better the Pixel feels in my hand. The Z Play was big and hard to use with one hand.

I bought the ZPlay primarily for battery life after my Moto Z2's battery started practically disintegrating after a firmware update, so battery life was key for me. I thought I'd like the larger screen but I really didn't, and the weight is just too heavy for me–I'm a massage therapist with an injured hand so this is a big deal for me. But damn that battery life!

I was worried when I saw that Google had used a smaller battery for this model than the original Pixel, so I really appreciate you posting your experience with it so far. I like the size and feel of it in the hand as well.

–I'm fighting the urger to upgrading to 128GB just so that I don't have to wait for 2 more weeks . . .

I bought the pixel 2xl and its supposed to be coming in 5 days.. But thinking bout switching to 2. Not so much because of the screen drama, but I think its ridiculous to me to spend almost a grand on a freaking phone, despite the smaller bezels and bigger screen. I bought my lumia 1020 for 300 less than the pixel xl

128gb XL for me. Skipped last year as I love my 6p and the Pixel didn't seem to be worth it.

64gb Black Pixel 2. Due to arrive lunchtime today. UK here so I am not sure if any aspects of the phone will be different. Will wait and see.
Coming from Moto G3 running Marshmallow.
Wireless charging not an issue for me.
Big bezels not an issue either.
Will try the headphone adapter or will but some bluetooth ones.

XL for me. Haven't set it up yet but a little worried it will be too big for my taste. If that's the case, I'll sell it (currently going for over $1k on swappa) after I get me free mini, and get the smaller 2. I just wish there was a size in between.

Sure thing! Right now I've been off the charger for over 20 hours with 2.5 hours of SOT and I'm at 67%.

I've read the P2XL battery life is amazing but it's encouraging to read that the 5" Pixel is too.

Went from 6P > 5X > Pixel XL. Now fancy something smaller again so have ordered a Pixel today and cancelled my P2XL. Handled a Google reps Pixel in Carphone Warehouse in the UK today and it felt great.

Smaller model, 128GB. Physical size of phone settled the issue of which model. Current usage + preference for phones to last several years settled the storage. Black because I liked it better than the other colours (though I'd have bought a panda if they made them in the smaller size).

I was glad to see on the box of Pixel 2: designed in California, made in Taiwan. Taiwan has top notch manufacturing. Is the 2XL also made in Taiwan? Or China (People's Republic of China).

BTW, I have now two straight days of 6+ hour SOT with Pixel 2. Simply amazing, hopefully future updates can maintain this.
